Linda Bisesti is the Artistic Director of the SCSFQuild. An AEA, SAG-AFTRA actor and director, she received her MFA in Acting from Boston University, School for the Arts. Emeritus Professor Bisesti was Head of Acting at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, in the Department of Theatre and New Dance, where she taught acting and voice and directed productions of Shakespeare and contemporary works. Her production of Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel was chosen for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Region 8, as one of the invited productions.  Guest Artist positions include the American Shakespeare Center,  Gaiety Theatre  School in Ireland, and Wellesley College Summer Theatre. 

Regional theatre credits include the acclaimed Los Angeles Women’s Shakespeare Company playing in gender-fluid roles, Inspecting Carol at the Laguna Playhouse, 

Backstage award best comic performance, and Steel Magnolias at the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts. East Coast regional credits Shear Madness at Boston’s Charles Playhouse. Some favorite Shakespeare roles are Goneril in King Lear, Tamora in Titus Andronicus, and The Nurse in Romeo and Juliet.  Film and TV credits: Billy Comes Home, Marina Del Rey Film Festival, Best Supporting Actor, From Hollywood to Rose, Killing Time (Sundance Film Festival), Love is the Drug (Slam dance), The Big Empty, The Poughkeepsie Tapes, and Sacramento. TV, The Conners, Ratched, Teachers, Monk, Criminal Minds, Brothers and Sisters, The West Wing, and How to Get Away with Murder. 

Linda is a Designated Linklater Voice teacher trained by master teacher Kristin Linklater.
